About The Position

As a Security Officer Customer Service at a healthcare location in Nashville, Tennessee, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate professionally. You will also use technology to document activity and help provide a welcoming, orderly environment. The position is part-time and scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The pay rate is $20.20 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state and local regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills during incidents and critical situations, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and access-related concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter, including parking areas, entrances, and common areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures to help maintain an orderly environment.
Use technology to document activity and communicate professionally.
