About The Position

Securitas is hiring a Healthcare Security Officer in Danbury, Connecticut, to help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and the client. The role involves actively monitoring and patrolling facility premises, preserving order, enforcing site rules and directives, and providing customer service and information. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, for 32 hours per week. The position pays $18.50 per hour. Nice To Haves

Prior security, military, law enforcement, or healthcare experience is a plus but is not always required.
Retail, food service, or hospitality experience is identified as a good fit; no prior experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

Patrol and monitor facility premises to deter and detect security and safety issues.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations.
Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general support.
Enforce facility rules and regulations, including access control and visitor management.
Complete clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
Work with healthcare staff to support a safe and respectful environment.
Report health and safety issues and risks in line with Securitas policies and local regulations.
Actively monitor premises, preserve order, and enforce regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the site.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
