As a Security Officer Full Time Security Screening in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will use X-ray screening equipment to help identify prohibited items, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, provide professional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or team members while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security-related policies.
  • Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business and perimeter, and document security-related observations and incidents.
