As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Evaluation in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while helping maintain efficient site operations. Requirements
- Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, packages, and/or designated items in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures; report prohibited or suspicious items or activity to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and delivery records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, loading areas, and perimeter, and report security-related concerns.
