As a Security Officer Full Time Security Screening in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and/or items, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing professional communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Inspect packages, shipments, and personal belongings as directed by site policy, documenting and reporting prohibited items or irregularities.
  • Monitor access points and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident records.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution location and perimeter.
