About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Cranbury, New Jersey. The officer will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, respond to security-related incidents, maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role follows site-specific procedures and policies, including access-control, emergency response, escalation, and reporting procedures.

The schedule is Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.68 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing may be required before employment; a valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access by verifying employee, visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records and communicate access-related information to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entry points, loading docks, and the business perimeter.
