About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare and laboratory location in Sturgis, Michigan, you will serve and safeguard clients while helping provide a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. The role is full-time and pays $18.04 per hour. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter; report unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Accurately document daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
