About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Cheyenne, Wyoming, you will safeguard clients and help maintain a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The role involves routine patrols, a visible security presence, customer service, clear communication, and professional responses to concerns. This is primarily a driving post.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain entry logs, and communicate site requirements professionally.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
