About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting in Baltimore, Maryland, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. You will help support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable responses to security concerns. The role includes working in a hospital morgue and following site-specific security procedures and policies. The position pays $16.24 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Tuesday 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, and Friday through Sunday 6:30 AM–3:00 PM. Employees may access technology to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
Be able to restrain individuals.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations; communicate with appropriate personnel and follow established protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific policies, providing directions and assistance as needed.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
