Security Officer - Overnights
About The Position
As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics-focused location in South Bend, Indiana. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, respond to incidents, and provide customer service and communication. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.20 per hour. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency-response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
- Monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and report observations.
