About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Crossett, Arkansas, you will safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, and teamwork. A shift-claiming platform may provide opportunities to select additional shifts. The position pays $15.50 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Monday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing passes as authorized, and directing people to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following site-specific reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production-area exteriors, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate access-related observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
