About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a temporary Response Security Officer in Venice, California. The role varies by day and special event and may include customer service, patrols, or surveillance. The officer must adapt to changing assignments while maintaining security and providing excellent customer service. The position is full-time, temporary, and scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have completed additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have strong responsiveness and problem-solving skills.
• Have a valid driver's license.

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to identify suspicious activity.
