About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time armed Security Officer to support a financial institution in Pacific Palisades, California. The role involves safeguarding clients, employees, and visitors through armed patrols, a visible security presence, incident response, access monitoring, and customer service. The position pays $23.47 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and applicable laws and regulations.
Monitor access to restricted areas and observe and report unusual activity.
Maintain accurate incident and patrol documentation.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
