About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to patrol a utilities location in Juno Beach, Florida. The unarmed patrol role involves vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring access points, helping deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. Officers follow site-specific policies and security procedures, respond to incidents and emergencies as appropriate, and document observations. The posted schedule is Monday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and Thursday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 21 years of age.
Guard card required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of utility facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
Prepare accurate reports on patrols, incidents, hazards, and other security-related observations.
