About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Atlanta, Georgia, for alarm panel monitoring. The officer will safeguard clients, monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and contribute to a welcoming environment through customer service and communication. The role includes responding to alarms, assisting with access control and badge processes, and documenting activities using computer or tablet systems.

The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on applicable background and drug screening. Licensing may be required under state or local regulations.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter.
• Respond to alarms.
• Assist with access control and badge processes.
• Document activities using computer or tablet systems.
