About The Position

MSC Security is seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer for an overnight foot patrol assignment at a truck gate in Atlanta, Georgia. The position is listed as Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at $16.00 per hour. The Security Officer protects client assets, property, and personnel while providing professional service to tenants, visitors, clients, and the public. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Have reliable transportation; public transportation is not considered reliable transportation for this role.
Have a working cell phone for communication with Operations Supervisors.
Pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions.
Possess an active 24-Hour Security Guard Training Certification.
Be able to perform post-order duties, including prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
Be familiar with mobile technology, including tablets and smartphones.
Possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Maintain a daily activity log during assigned shifts.
Complete accurate and detailed incident reports.
Conduct routine foot patrols throughout the assigned property.
Enforce client policies and procedures professionally and courteously.
Report to duty on time and in proper uniform.
Interact professionally with tenants, visitors, clients, and the general public.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and active listening.
Maintain situational awareness.
Assess emergencies and respond appropriately.
Identify and promptly and accurately report critical issues.
