About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer at an assigned food and beverage production site in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The role provides a designated weekly shift as a reliable base schedule, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. The officer may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The stated pay rate is $17.87 per hour. The scheduled shift is Saturday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include responding to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, following visitor and delivery procedures, and documenting and communicating relevant observations and events.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, employee entrances, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery personnel procedures according to site requirements.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
