About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Oxford, Ohio. The role provides a designated site and fixed weekly shift as a reliable base schedule, with a required six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform, with the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week and scale back as needed. The stated pay rate is $18.00 per hour, paid weekly. The listed schedule is Friday, 5:45 AM–3:45 PM.

The officer provides security and customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and retail personnel; follows site procedures; responds to incidents and emergencies; conducts unarmed patrols; monitors access and activity; and completes reports and shift communications. The role may involve working across multiple sites when claiming additional shifts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Commit to the assigned site and weekly anchor shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or retail personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.
