Security Officer Part Time Food Plant

About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Walworth, Wisconsin, you will help safeguard a food and beverage production location by managing access points, verifying badges and visitor access, monitoring activity, and providing customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and guests while supporting security-related operations. The role offers a schedule-building platform to view and claim additional shifts. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points at a food and beverage production location; verify credentials, process visitor and contractor entries, and maintain accurate access records.
Control the entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries according to site procedures, helping deter unauthorized access.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access areas, the business, and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
