About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Hughson, California, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations. The scheduled hours are Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM. Pay is $18.28 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor and control site access by verifying credentials, processing visitors and deliveries, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, delivery activity, and restricted-area access; report unusual activity, policy violations, and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established site procedures, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
