About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned logistics and distribution site in Riverside, California. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow employees to work up to 40 hours in a week, with the flexibility to scale back. The position pays $19.00 per hour and has a Sunday shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures and site-specific policies. Duties include controlling access, monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic, documenting entry and exit information, responding to incidents, and patrolling the facility and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control facility access by verifying identification and authorization for employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and visitors entering restricted areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at access points and document required entry and exit information.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter; deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
