About The Position

Securitas is hiring a full-time overnight Security Officer in Grand Island, New York. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring client premises, patrolling locations, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Foot patrols throughout the facility and accurate temperature readings are required. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. The position pays $19.25 per hour and requires availability for an overnight schedule running Saturday through Wednesday, midnight to 8:00 a.m. The first shift begins at 11:59 p.m. Friday and ends at 8:00 a.m. Saturday; subsequent shifts begin at 11:59 p.m. each night and end at 8:00 a.m. the following morning, with the final shift ending Wednesday at 8:00 a.m.

Requirements

No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.
Must be available to work Saturday through Wednesday overnight, from midnight to 8:00 a.m., with the first shift beginning Friday at 11:59 p.m.
Attention to detail.
Experience using computers and phones.
Ability to learn the badging system.
Ability to follow the chain of command, procedures, and protocols.
Excellent customer and client service skills.
Ability to remain professional at all times.
