About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a perimeter patrol driving post at a retail and mall location in Sacramento, California. The officer will help safeguard the property and support a welcoming experience for guests, tenants, and staff through routine patrols, a visible security presence, customer service, and incident response. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply based on state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access points and activity throughout the location; report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
Communicate professionally with site management and Allied Universal leadership.
