About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, temporary Unarmed Retail Security Officer at $19.00 per hour. The officer will help safeguard clients by providing customer service and following safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency-response activities. The role includes responding calmly to incidents and critical situations and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license only if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency-response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
