About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The position involves driving patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, helping deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $19.57 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment, depending on applicable requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify appropriate contacts and assist with response activities as directed.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, including observations, actions taken, and notifications made.
