About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Radnor, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in the healthcare field. As a Screener at a dynamic medical center location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by screening patients, visitors, and staff, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and communicating professionally. You will remain attentive to security-related concerns, help deter incidents, and support a positive experience for everyone on site. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming individuals, explaining screening procedures, and directing visitors, patients, staff, and/or students as appropriate.
  • Conduct screening of individuals and permitted belongings in accordance with site-specific policies and applicable procedures, reporting prohibited items or concerns to designated personnel.
  • Maintain awareness of access points and visitor flow to help deter unauthorized entry and support a professional, orderly environment.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Complete required logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
