About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned logistics and distribution location in Etna, Ohio. The role provides consistent scheduled hours, with a six-month commitment to a designated site and weekly anchor shift. The employee may also claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust hours as needed. The pay rate is $17.98 per hour.

The position focuses on customer service, security procedures, unarmed deterrence patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and reporting. The scheduled shift is Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location.
• Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, access points, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate records of entries, deliveries, and unusual activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Observe shipping and receiving operations for security-related concerns, report suspicious activity or damaged property, and complete required daily activity reports.
