About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for vehicle patrols and property protection at an aerospace and defense location in East Saint Louis, Illinois. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The scheduled hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Successful completion of a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency-response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, aircraft-related facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access control points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery access according to site-specific requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.
