As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Management in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access points, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Verify authorization and manage entry and exit for employees, contractors, vendors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with established site requirements.
  • Monitor access points, vehicle gates, credential systems, alarms, and cameras; report irregularities, unauthorized-access attempts, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access-control areas, parking locations, perimeter gates, and assigned facilities to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
