As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Management in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide customer-focused support. Requirements

  • At least five years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unauthorized access attempts, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with supervisors, property management, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related events.
