About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Identity Authentication for an automotive manufacturing location in Vance, Alabama. The position provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift, requiring a six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The listed pay rate is $17.50 per hour. The scheduled shift is Saturday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Duties include screening people and deliveries, verifying identification, maintaining entry records, operating screening equipment, inspecting items and vehicles, responding to incidents, and patrolling facility areas.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing location while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site access requirements; verify identification and maintain accurate entry records.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect authorized items, packages, and vehicles as directed by site procedures.
• Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, and promptly communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated facility areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
