About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer focused on access policy enforcement in Middletown, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard clients and support a secure environment at a professional location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, maintain a visible presence, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff while providing outstanding customer service. The role supports security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $16.72 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, where required.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Manage entry points, verify credentials, and monitor access activity.
• Maintain a visible presence and communicate clearly with visitors and staff.
