Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol Mobility
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol security officer to serve a residential community in Leesburg, Virginia. The officer conducts vehicle patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, supports access control, and communicates professionally with residents and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s Driver Policy. The work schedule is Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $22.70 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and community policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entrances, streets, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the community.
- Document security-related observations, incidents, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain a professional presence and provide clear directions and assistance to residents, guests, and service providers.
