About The Position

The Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, visitors, and contractors, while protecting buildings and property. Officers serve people in Independent Living, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted Living facilities, either directly or in a support role. This part-time position is based at Friendship Village’s Sunset Hills Campus in St. Louis, Missouri, and involves two 12-hour weekend shifts from midnight to noon.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain it.
• Must have a clean/clear background.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a St. Louis County Security Officer’s License.
• Must obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certificate from a qualified agency.
• Strong positive attitude toward customer service.
• Must strive to do the best job possible, be creative, and work toward accomplishing facility goals.

• Meet the needs of residents in Independent Living, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted Living facilities, as well as staff, visitors, and contractors, directly or in a support role.
• Be trained and perform as a first responder.
