Security Officer Full Time Gate Access Overnights
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for overnight and evening gate access at a residential community in San Antonio, Texas. The officer helps provide a welcoming, controlled environment by managing visitor access, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, responding to security concerns, and providing customer service to residents and guests. The role includes maintaining records, communicating with property staff and emergency responders, and patrolling residential areas. The listed schedule is Tuesday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Thursday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Friday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Saturday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Sunday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Pay is $16.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves

- CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors while following access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor and delivery records according to property procedures.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, and emergency responders.
- Document security-related activities and incidents.
