About The Position

The Gate Access Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by monitoring the premises, conducting patrols, and observing and reporting activities and incidents. The officer preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area, and may provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. This position is part-time and requires weekend availability.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Must be able to work weekend hours.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Must be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit.
