About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a food and beverage production location in Fort Worth, Texas. The officer will manage access points, verify credentials, greet visitors, and help maintain an orderly environment. The role requires a visible presence, professional communication with employees and guests, accurate activity documentation, and a calm response to security concerns. The position is scheduled Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment depending on applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR certification.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
Screen incoming deliveries and vendor traffic according to site procedures to support controlled access to production, warehouse, and administrative areas.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, facility areas, and perimeter locations, and report unusual conditions.
