About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer specializing in credential verification in Bay Minette, Alabama, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a secure workplace. The role also involves providing customer service, communicating with employees and guests, and responding to security-related concerns. The schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.76 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and contractor authorizations according to site-specific access-control procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and security concerns.
