As a Security Officer Patrol in Crete, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge procedures is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site contacts.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by completing required reports, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and communicating clearly with team members and/or local responders when needed.
