As a Security Officer Afternoon Driver Patrol in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify approved access for employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, and report discrepancies according to location procedures.
Observe operational areas for property-related concerns, equipment issues, and/or policy violations, then report findings to help support daily site operations.
