About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a food and beverage production location in Delphi, Indiana. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, and responding to security-related concerns. The scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.15 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs for deliveries, inspections, and other site activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following emergency response procedures and promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, patrol findings, and policy concerns in clear, timely reports while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced industrial environment.
