About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents, and providing customer service to tenants, visitors, clients, and employees. The role is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $17.75 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Possess a valid driver's license only if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following procedures and escalating concerns as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with entry procedures, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and maintenance observations to appropriate personnel.
Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in accordance with company and site requirements.
