Security Officer Overnight Patrol Response

About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Dayton, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine and random patrols, document observations, respond to incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. This is a full-time overnight position scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $14.50 per hour, paid weekly. No prior experience is required. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and around its perimeter.
Document observations and communicate effectively.
