About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Dunkirk, New York. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. The role also involves professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a team that works with integrity. The position offers access to a platform for viewing and claiming additional shifts. The stated pay rate is $18.00 per hour. The schedule lists Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns through established procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and support controlled access to restricted areas.
Document observations, incidents, and shift activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
