About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Zeeland, Michigan, you will safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct unarmed patrols, and maintain a visible security presence to help deter incidents. The role also supports a welcoming environment through communication and customer service, responds to alarms, and documents activities. The position is full-time and pays $18.58 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter as assigned.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, contacting appropriate site personnel or emergency responders when needed.
Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with company and site requirements.
