About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a mobile response driving post at a food and beverage production location in Gonzales, California. The officer will safeguard the client, employees, visitors, and vendors by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. The role requires a valid driver’s license and involves scheduled overnight shifts from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $21.46 per hour.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
- Communicate observed conditions, policy concerns, and incident details to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as appropriate.
