About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer for a site in Houston, Texas. The role varies by day and special event and may involve customer service, patrols, surveillance, and responding to incidents. The officer helps protect people and property while maintaining a professional, service-oriented approach. The position is temporary, with a set schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m.; Monday and Tuesday, 3 p.m.–11 p.m.; and Wednesday, 11 p.m.–7 a.m. The advertised hourly wage is $22.00–$24.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license with no restriction B and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate a stable work history.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have computer and social skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry.
• Be able and willing to work at odd hours and under pressure.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.
• Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have strong responsiveness and problem-solving skills.
• Have a state license if required.
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• Jewelry store, high-value retail store, or bank security experience is preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities
