About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer for a site in Houston, Texas. The role varies by day and special event and may involve customer service, patrols, surveillance, and adapting to changing situations. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday and Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Wednesday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Pay is $22.00–$24.00 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license with no restriction B and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate a stable work history.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Have computer and social skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry.
• Be willing and able to work odd hours and under pressure.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive, strong problem-solving skills.
• Have a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• Jewelry store, high-value retail store, or bank security experience is preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
