About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer in Chester, Virginia. The officer will safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role pays $21.37 per hour and offers shifts of 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m., or 12:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m. Paid orientation is provided.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
