Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to serve and safeguard a commercial real estate location in Houma, Louisiana. The position involves routine unarmed foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and communication to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel. The driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with company policy. The listed pay rate is $11.00 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Wednesday from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and Saturday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Employees can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and property activity, reporting unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence.
